As part of the Festivals of Museums we were invited to a photo session in Edinburgh. Models appeared in 16th Century inspired costumes (including a fabulous outfit created for King James VI) at various locations in the City.
The session was booked by Edinburgh Council and took place on the morning of Wednesday 4th May 2011.
Locations for photographs included both modern and historical settings – the ‘Tardis’ on the High Street, Lothian Magestic Bus and pictures taken at with the Castle in background. The pictures were taken by Rob McDougall a renowned photographer based in Edinburgh.
I will be including more pictures of the shoot as soon as they are available.

Great shots Julia, Rob certainly knows what he’s doing. As always, your costumes look spectacular. Well done!
I love all the photos however my favorite picture is the one of the King and Queen outside the bus- it’s surreal.
The pictures in Edinburgh are fabulous and the costumes look great particularly in the lovely settings.
