Newcastle Fashion Show

We are pleased to have been asked to present a Period Fashion Show as part of Newcastle Fashion Week.

After a successful programme of events at Newcastle Libraries last year, join us again to help celebrate NE1′s Newcastle Fashion Week in style.

From Saturday 26 May – Sunday 3 June 2012 venues across the city will take part in fringe events and promotions which will showcase the popularity of fashion in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Our Period Fashion Show is to be presented next Saturday 2nd June at 6.30 pm in the Bewick Suite. The stylish event will last about an hour with orange juice and wine to be served during a short interval.

Five new costumes have been created since our last show at Newcastle City Library.

They include two new gowns designed for two of King  Henry VIII’s wives Queen Jane Seymour and Queen Catherine Howard.  Costumes for Queen Elizabeth I, Mary Queen of Scots (Execution Gown) and James I will also be worn.

Old favourite King Henry VIII will also put in an appearance wearing his new burgundy robe.

It is set to be a splendid event – don’t miss it!
